Description

This small sized Rolling Stones poster from Texas advertises a concert appearance at the Southern Methodist University's Moody Coliseum in Dallas on November 13th 1969. Opening acts were Terry Reid (Jimmy Page's first choice for singer in Led Zeppelin) and Chuck Berry but they were not listed on this Concerts West poster. Although Brian Jones appears on the poster, he had passed away on July 3rd, several months before the show took place.. It was part of the band's legendary November 1969 American Tour which ended with the disaster at Altamont.  The poster is on thin paper and so has been backed with archival linen.
